Start.me: Firmansyah, thank you for joining us! Could you start by giving us a brief introduction about yourself?

Firmansyah: Sure! I’m Firmansyah from Indonesia. I work for a digital marketing agency based in Singapore as a content writer and influencer marketing specialist. I help brands in Indonesia and Southeast Asia with influencer marketing campaigns on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Start.me: That’s fascinating! How does Start.me help you with your work?

Firmansyah: Start.me has been incredibly helpful. In digital marketing, I often have to open a lot of tabs on my laptop. With Start.me, I can save time by organizing everything in one place. I just click on my Start.me tab and have easy access to all my links.

Start.me: We’re glad to hear that! How did you discover Start.me?

Firmansyah: I found Start.me on the Google Chrome Store about two or three years ago. I was looking for similar tools and tried a few others, but they had too many unnecessary features. Start.me stood out because it was simple and straightforward.

Making money with Start.me

Start.me: It looks like you primarily use the bookmarks widget. I also noticed the red “Buy Me a Coffee” widget. How’s that working for you?

Firmansyah: I registered for “Buy Me a Coffee” about a week or two ago, but I haven’t used it actively yet.

Start.me: We’d love to help promote you! Besides the bookmarks and notes widgets, are there other features you like?

Firmansyah: Yes, I use the news widget to display updates from Google News. It refreshes every minute with articles on specific keywords, which is handy when I need relevant content for my work.

Start.me: Are there any features you don’t find useful?

Firmansyah: So far, all the features have been useful. However, I do have a suggestion. When I click a link to my public page, it opens a new tab showing all the other pages I’ve created. Could there be a way to open just the specific link and hide the rest?

Start.me: That’s an interesting idea. I’ll make a note of it.

Any other requests?

Firmansyah: Is it possible to connect my own domain to Start.me so that when I share a link, it shows up as “start.artificial.com,” for example?

Start.me: We do offer personalized subdomains, but they’re currently only available for team accounts. I’ll bring this up with our team to see if it can be extended to individual users.

Firmansyah: That would be great! I plan to create and share more resources, so having a custom domain would be very useful.

Start.me: I understand. It’s a good point. Do you think Start.me would be useful for your team at work?

Firmansyah: I haven’t shared it directly yet, but I plan to. My boss still uses nothing but the bookmarks in the bookmark bar of the browser, but this is just not enough to me! I think he would benefit from using Start.me.

Firmansyah: I work closely with him, so I can share my experience. I’ve been using Start.me for about two to three years, and it’s been invaluable in organizing my day.
