Cookie bar

European Union (EU) law is rather strict when it comes to privacy. The union requires website owners to show a so called ‘cookie bar’ to all EU citizens, warning them about the use of cookies. We believe transparency is a good thing and were always open about our use of cookies (cf. our Privacy Policy). To comply with EU law we had to add as so called ‘cookie bar’ to formally announce the use of cookies, giving visitors a chance to opt out.

Most of our EU users will be confronted with the new cookie bar. It may feel like a bit of a nuisance, but please remember that it is only meant to protect your privacy. After you clicked ‘OK’ it will never show again. Our use of cookies is detailed on our new Cookie Policy page (or Kakpolicy, as the Swedish call it).

Note: we haven’t yet finished translating our cookie policy to all languages we currently support. So if you are a native speaker in one of the 16 languages we support (see below), your help would be greatly appreciated. Of course we are always willing to add new locales. The current list of supported locales:

  • Argentine Spanish
  • Dutch
  • English
  • Spanish
  • German
  • French
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Norwegian
  • Polish
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Serbian
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Swedish
